of comprehensive design review and technical advice during construction. We currently have an opening for a Manufacturing Process Engineer.
The
Manufacturing/Process Engineer is responsible to oversee the various manufacturing processes and implement
programs to improve material yields, machine efficiencies and cost savings. The incumbent directs and
manages operator training and establishment of standard operating procedures. The candidate needs to have excellent communication, strong computer knowledge, organizational and writing
skills, project management skills and a strong knowledge of operations. This position reports to the
Plant Manager.
The responsibilities
include:
Collection and Management of manufacturing
data and reports
Directs and manages operator training program
and generation of standard operating procedures.
Coordinates activities
related to improving material yields, productivity, downtime and recycle usage.
Responsible
for projects involving lean manufacturing, 5S, material flow, logistics and manufacturing data collection
(XMii), performance analytics.
Ensure compliance with all applicable
environmental, health and safety procedures and other regulations
Provide
operational support to production department to ensure efficient operation.

The
Manufacturing Process Engineer will need to have the following qualifications:
5
years minimum “hands on” manufacturing experience operating and troubleshooting heavy equipment
BS
degree in engineering or equivalent with experience in automation and data handling
At
least 5 years of process supervisory experience.
Familiarity with
environmental, health and safety regulations
Required

Excellent

Project management skills
with close follow up on time lines and quality
Ability to multi-task
in a fast paced environment
