Technical Sales Representative, midwest Region, MO (Exempt)

Sarnafil manufactures high quality, single ply roofing and waterproofing membranes. With over 40 years experience, Sika Sarnafil's roofing and waterproofing systems are recognized for
their ability to withstand the test of time. Our solutions are successful and we service our customers by providing beneficial support in the form
of comprehensive design review and technical advice during construction. We currently have a position available for our Mountain Region. The candidate needs to be located in the St. Louis, MO. This position is responsible to provide technical sales support at the regional level to customers (contractors,
architects, and building owners) with possible management of manufacture representatives to achieve
pre-determined sales and profit objectives. The candidate needs to have excellent communication, organizational and writing skills, knowledge about
the roofing industry and needs to be willing to travel. This position reports to the Region Manager,
Midwest.
The responsibilities
include:
Position Sika Sarnafil as a company
that provides quality products and service
Sales of all Sarnafil
Roofing and Waterproofing systems to meet agreed upon budget and gross margin objectives
Maintain
manufacturer’s representatives to accomplish goals and objectives
Identify
and follow-up on new market opportunities
Specification activity
through Roofing Consultants, Architects, Engineers and all other influencing parties
Roofing
contractor account management to include bid returns, receivables, territory coverage
Establish
key owner of territories
Provide weekly, monthly sales activity
reports
Handling of project pricing
Box
lunch seminar presentations
Sample, literature presentation
Specification
writing
Follow company environmental and safety policies.
Other
projects as they arise
The ideal candidate
will need to have the following qualifications and personal skills:
Associates
Degree, BA/BS Preferred
Minimum of five years of sales or related
experience, preferably to the owner and architectural communities
Computer
proficient
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding
presentation abilities
Valid Driver License in good standing
Ability
to travel via car and airplane
