Sika Sarnafil and Greenskies Renewable Energy Complete 154 KW Solar Installation
CANTON, MA – August 3, 2010 – Sika Sarnafil, the worldwide market leader in thermoplastic roofing and waterproofing membranes, announced that it is hosting a solar project at its Dan Road facility in Canton, MA. The project will generate electricity and when complete, will serve as a solar park providing to customers a demonstration of four unique solar photovoltaic technologies.

CANTON, MA – March 12, 2010 – Sika Sarnafil announced winners of its 2009 Contractor Projects of the Year Competition. Twelve contractors were recognized for outstanding workmanship in completing a project using a Sika Sarnafil thermoplastic membrane for roofing or waterproofing applications. A winner and two finalists were chosen from each of four different categories: Low Slope, Steep Slope, Waterproofing and Sustainability.

Architectural Students Get Hands-On Tutorial in Vinyl Roofing
Canton,
Massachusetts. June 23, 2009 – Graduate architectural students from the Illinois Institute of
Technology (IIT) dismantled an old studio in disrepair last year at the historic ‘Ragdale artists’ colony’
and then rebuilt it, capping the new structure off with a vinyl roofing system donated by Sika Sarnafil.
The successful project resulted in an article in ‘Chicago Architect’ magazine.

Energy and Environmental Affairs Officials Point to Success of Recycling

Undersecretary for Environment Philip Griffiths today joined officials of Sika Sarnafil, a Canton roofing
membrane maker, in marking the success of a recycling program that has diverted about four million pounds
of end of life” roofing membranes from Massachusetts landfills since last year. Undersecretary Griffiths
presented the company with a plaque on behalf of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) Secretary Ian
Bowles, whose Office of Technical Assistance and Technology (OTA) assisted the recycling effort.
