Sarnacol 2121
Sarnacol 2121 is a water-based adhesive used for bonding Sarnafil membranes to absorbent substrates.
See our Product Data Sheet for application instructions
Surfaces to which Sarnacol 2121 is applied must be:
- No steeper than 5º
- Free of dust and oil
- Absorbent (water absorbent)
- Dry
Sarnacol 2121 is cold weather sensitive and should not be used when either air or substrate temperatures are expected to fall below 40 degrees (F) (+5 °C). Only one surface needs to be coated with Sarnacol 2121. The adhesive is normally applied to the substrate with a lambskin roller, rubber squeegee, or toothed trowel. The Sarnafil membrane is then rolled firmly onto the freshly applied adhesive bed, still wet. Setting can take several hours, so the membrane must not be disturbed while the adhesive sets.
