Some waterproofing manufacturers market warranties as “the guarantee” of a quality installation. Don’t be fooled. Too often, the only thing about a warranty that a building owner considers is length – which is probably the least important part. While a warranty can be very beneficial to a building owner, it does not guarantee a watertight building.
With or without a warranty, the long-term performance of a waterproofing system depends on three things: 1. Selection of the proper system and expert design 2. Proper installation by authorized applicators 3. On site monitoring and quality assurance to insure the installation meets Sika Sarnafil’s critical warranty criteria

No Exclusion for Ponding Water Because our hot-air welded seams are permanently fused together, the membrane becomes a monolithic (continuous) sheet. Since water is unable to penetrate the membrane, and there are no seams capable of separating, building owners are assured that ponding water – a very common occurrence – will not impact the reliability of the Sika Sarnafil waterproofing system. For this reason, Sika Sarnafil does not have an exclusion for ponding water in any of its warranties.
Milestone Management Program The Milestone Management Program provides a technical expert on all Sika Sarnafil warranted projects. The Sika Sarnafil monitor is trained to provide an extensive inspection of the waterproofing system to ensure the installation meets our high standards of quality workmanship.
Fully Transferable A Sika Sarnafil warranty is transferable to a new building owner.
